Celebrating
10 years of hope

In 2008, shortly after recovering from her own treatment for ovarian cancer, Dr. Laura Shawver, a celebrated scientist, cancer drug developer, and entrepreneur founded The Clearity Foundation to help provide women with ovarian cancer with cutting-edge diagnostic tools and support services to help them identify the best possible treatment for their unique cancer.

Dr. Shawver and her team began supporting women and families by providing science-based information, coordination of molecular tumor testing, and unlimited counseling to help women identify the best treatment options for their unique case.

The Clearity Foundation has always provided services at no charge, wanting to see women and families dealing with ovarian cancer have access to the same types of technology that many other cancers employ. As the years have gone by, Clearity’s team has grown and services have expanded to include improved report formats, clinical trial search assistance, and other innovative support services.

We gather to celebrate 10 Years of Hope on this anniversary of Clearity’s founding. The Teal Woman Celebration will celebrate life, honor courage, and recognize progress in the survival and quality of life of women with ovarian cancer.
